Gaps immediately after laying

Three days ago, they laid me a layered floorboard gluing it to the floor. A crevice appeared in the middle of the board, which looks like a crack. What could have caused this? Faulty assembly, using the wrong adhesive? Or something completely different? In some places where the floorboards join there is a clear 2 mm high "mound", which makes a spirit level wobble. What causes this?

Cupping can have several causes: damp air, moisture of the base floor. It could also be a fault in assembly, or maybe the ordinary unpredictability of a natural material. It can happen that minor cracks appear at the manufacturing stage, and today this causes a fault there. Such a floorboard is removed by authorised fitters.
