Warped floorboards from the packaging
I bought a 2.20m floorboard (nat. oak, professional). After opening the first two packs (of seven) it turned out that all the floorboards are warped in an arch towards the surface layer. The maximum bend is around 0.5cm. Since being bought, the floorboards have been lying closed in the packs for over 3 days. Is a floorboard like this suitable for laying as a floating floor? I'm worried about them lifting up around the edges of the room.
This is normal. 0.5 cm is not a serious deflection. Lay it without worrying.
